Yah's Prayer

Every day I wake up longing for a brand new me.

I hate myself the way that I am.  I really want to be clean.

Oh how I long to serve You, but I can't seem to find my way.

Please break these chains that have me bound,

And teach me how to pray.

Then I hear a still small voice saying unto me

I have left you a perfect prayer to cleanse and set you free

It was prayed by my disciples as the father they did seek

It will bring you to perfect peace cleanse and set you free.

Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come.  Thy will be done.

On Earth as it is in Heaven.  Give us this day

Our daily bread.  And forgive us our debts,

As we forgive our debtors.  And lead us not into temptation

But deliver us from evil.  For thine is the Kingdom,

and the Power, and the Glory, forever.

Is your heart bound up by the cares of this life?

Does darkness seem always near, along

with turmoil and strife.

You really want to serve Him, but your battle's got

you down.
