Yahshua Cried

Yahshua stood in the courtyard

His accusers all around

They cursed and spat upon Him

As they whipped Him to the ground

As Peter looked upon Him

To the people he denied

I tell you I do not know this Man

He cursed and fled to hide, Yahshua must have cried

Yet He knew within His heart

That Peter's work had just begun

He had prayed unto His Father

For His will to be done

That Peter would be converted

And his faith would not fail

As he worked for the Father

He would serve Him well

Then He went to Calvary

And was crucified

His blood was pouring down from Him

A sacrifice for mankind

His Father looked upon Him

Such anguish inside

So that you and I might have life

His Son had to die, His Father must have cried

How many times have you and I

Denied we knew Yahshua

When people look at our lives

Like the world, have we also played the fool

Well, He still goes to His Father

In prayer for you and me

That we may be delivered

And serve Him faithfully, Yahshua  weeps

Yahshua weeps, for you and me

Yahshua weeps, that we would serve Him faithfully
